The United Nations, NYC Welcomes the World

Thanks to the work being done at UN Headquarters, another world is possible. Dedicated to a mission of global peace and security, no other international body has done as much to improve geopolitical relations in the name of social justice and human rights, passing countless world-changing resolutions right here, on the east coast of Manhattan. Whether you're in NYC on government business or holiday,  few hotels near United Nations Headquarters offer the convenience, style and value of ours.

FAQs

  • What do I need to know before I go?

Guided tour tickets are ONLY sold online, and available at limited times. Be sure to buy your ticket and plan your visit accordingly. Unfortunately, children under the age of 5 are not permitted on the tour. For security purposes, it's advised that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour as well.
  • What's the significance of UN Headquarters?

The UN has grown from 51 member states, to 193 currently, and it's home has been here in Manhattan since the Headquarters was built in 1952. The site is technically an autonomous, nation-free zone dedicated to the mission of the United Nations. It provides a secure venue for the greatest issues of today to be debated, and policies passed.
